NYC Candidates help the djelf7 coalition
From Public Housing to Education and more, NYC candidates are taking a stand!
Kori Edens & djelf7 go to City Hall with the support of NYC Mayoral and US Presidential candidates to address problems at CUNY!
Kori Edens has been an incredible ally. She has worked to help me on the cause of the wrongfully incarcerated, and went with me to NYU, Hunter College, and Columbia to recruit college age kids to mobilize. We’ve been working together for quite some time to put together a coalition of candidates to ask for a public meeting with the CUNY chancellor and the Hunter University President regarding abusive treatment by University administrators and other issues of concern to our coalition. On 11/25/24 we went to NYC City Hall to ask city council members to join us in a call for a public meeting with the CUNY chancellor and the Hunter University President.
NYC has the largest urban university network in the world and we are reaching out to new Education Secretary Linda McMahon to oversee our efforts to address corruption abuse and waste in the CUNY system.
We are using our leverage to get the CUNY chancellor, Hunter University President as well as administrators from NYU and Columbia to attend our upcoming discussion panel / candidate debate as scheduled for 2/2/25. We are also looking to get students and other stakeholders involved. If you want to be part of this email djelf7@djelf7.com!
NYC Candidates & djelf7 descend on Fulton Chelsea to stop the demolition of Fulton Chelsea Houses
Public Housing has over half a million residents and represents a voter base with large potential, but consistently low voter participation. Why would anyone market this group of people to mobilize for themselves? A large number of commercial forces benefit more from exploiting this population then empowering them. This is not going to be an easy fight, but we brought the candidates without large donations from developers or the construction/contractor industries to say what the establishment candidates won’t!
Make Thanksgiving Great Again!
I got food poisoning and was unable to do the MTGA event. But here is something to think about.
65% of Native Americans voted for Donald Trump. The suffering of those with political power is acknowledged while the suffering of those without power is ignored!
The following are issues I have brought to Al Sharpton’s attention from years ago which have yet to be acknowledged.
The complete elimination of Asian Americans from the staff of Andrew Yang’s campaign team.
The exclusion of Asian Americans both under DEI and after it’s removal of DEI proving that it’s application is assigned based off of political power and not the truth.
The installation of Asian Americans into power who have been weaponized against the black community so as to build resentment.
The problems with the new mandatory AANHPI curriculum which has now been implemented in NYC schools which is an insult to Asian American history in that it claims to address “Asian hate” while completely ignoring “Sa I Gu” and also completely erases the history of Palestine and Palestinian Americans such as Edward Said who coined the term, “Oriental.”
I’m sorry that this event didn’t go off, but we will probably reschedule for Christmas. Both Sharpton and MAGA have a strong tie to Christianity and I’m eager to get past the divisiveness and find ways to WORK TOGETHER

Every Sunday starting on December 1st we will have a series of discussion panels/debates between candidates running for office in the 25 election cycle.
We have confirmations from both Otis Johnson and Steven Lee for this event and are looking for one more moderator to help guide the debate/ discussion panel between candidates. email djelf7@djelf7.com to participate
I am reaching out to Transportation Alternatives and the Straphangers Campaign to see if they are willing to have a conversation on these topics.
Black Friday sale!
This book written by the 2022 activist of the year, Brian Winters, is a science fiction remake aka pastiche where he explains his concept for political change. The link below will run until Friday and offers the book at a special discounted price
https://shop.ingramspark.com/b/084?params=w6sl5XgqBAIuYfg4Vh27ug5f0p6g5zVy7EdWC7equYI
There are many people who have a vision for how to change society, but many of these people have never held elected office. Even though Brian Winters was elected several times to NH’s state legislator his work is not covered or respected by the media who rather celebrate people like Andrew Yang. Yang repeatedly gets it wrong, has a horrible track record on delivering on his promises, and has never successfully won any elected office, but yet his work is marketed heavily.
Any truly subversive work that takes on the status quo is highly suppressed. This is the first book that I have ever promoted and endorsed and it’s available for a special discounted price for BLACK FRIDAY!
A discussion that we had about the book will soon be released on my Youtube channel.
Very glad you have found a way to gain allies and leverage your righteous anger on behalf of those wrongly convicted (or forced into false plea-deals for fear of worse.) Sounds encouraging! Best of luck and success.
